Feb 10, 2019 1:00 PM
My name is Sabrina Sadler.
I am a Senior at Tenafly High School, and interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. I volunteer at Holy Name Medical Center and at The Jewish Home at Rockleigh. I also play volleyball for the Tenafly Tiger's, and play club Volleyball.
I am hosting a fun and exciting MUSIC VIDEO SPIN CLASS to help increase awareness of Parkinson’s disease and its devastating affects on the human body.
It is with my grandfather in mind that I am raising money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease and to continue the development of improved therapies for those currently living with this devastating disease.
In July of 2009, my grandfather, Grandpa Bob, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson’s disease is a disorder of the central nervous system that affects movement, often including tremors. While there is currently no cure, there are medications and surgeries that can help to improve symptoms. After ten years of living with Parkinson’s, Grandpa Bob passed away on November 6th, 2018.
Please join me on Sunday February 10th at 1pm and help increase awareness for Parkinson's Disease. Thank you!
